Assistant Project Manager
Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals.
- Communicating with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals.
- Assign duties to project team members to implement project goals, as needed.
- Contributing to the planning and development of projects.
- Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely
project execution. - Researching project information as required.
- Performing administrative tasks such as preparing project budget, cost estimates,
documentation, scheduling meetings, etc. - Keeping track of and reporting on project progress.
- Completing any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely
manner.
Assistant Project Manager Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management or related field of study.
- Professional project management certificates is preferred.
- 2-3 years of proven and successful experience in IT project implementation.
- Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution.
- Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution.
- Working knowledge of project management tools.
- Expert-level experience with computer operating systems and office application, such as Microsoft Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
- Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively.
