Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals.
  • Communicating with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals.
  • Assign duties to project team members to implement project goals, as needed.
  • Contributing to the planning and development of projects.
  • Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely
    project execution.
  • Researching project information as required.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as preparing project budget, cost estimates,
    documentation, scheduling meetings, etc.
  • Keeping track of and reporting on project progress.
  • Completing any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely
    manner.

Assistant Project Manager Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management or related field of study.
  • Professional project management certificates is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of proven and successful experience in IT project implementation.
  • Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution.
  • Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools.
  • Expert-level experience with computer operating systems and office application, such as Microsoft Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
  • Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively.
